About the Role
Red Basil is looking for a talented Frontend Developer to help us build new applications that leverage our digital marketplace platform. This individual will implement features for web, iOS, and Android products. In addition to frontend development, the work will also include scaling, performance tuning, analytics, operations, and security. If you are a full stack developer, you will also have opportunities to work on the backend portion of our stack.
Requirements
You are an expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and VUE/React/Angular.
You have developed and shipped React/VUE/Angular applications.
You are knowledgeable in web and mobile debugging tools including the network inspector, the JS console, XCode, and Android Studio.
You are familiar integrating with RESTful APIs and utilizing data in JSON and XML formats.
You always consider responsiveness, accessibility, and a consistent experience across various browsers and devices.
You are comfortable mentoring and leading a team of engineers.
You have proven experience delivering regularly scheduled releases to consumer-facing mobile and/or web applications.
You have worked with UX designers and are familiar with modern UI/UX standards, styles, and best practices.
You have some familiarity with built automation tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
About the Company
Red Basil Technologies is a new startup building a B2B digital marketplace for food and beverage establishments (e.g. restaurants, cloud kitchens) and their suppliers (e.g. wholesale food distributors, traders etc.). Our mobile app-based solutions include a digital storefront for suppliers, contracting, procurement, order fulfillment and payment workflows for restaurants.
